The complaint that one Ghulam Qadir Mari is influenced person and has sold out his land at the rate of Rs. 5 to 6 lacs to the Government though value of land is only Rs. 12 thousand per acre and loss to Government of crores of rupees. Such negotiations depreciated and education & Board of Revenue ordered for acquiring proper piece of land close to city. In this way huge amount of Government saved.

This matter pertains to incident which has taken place on 01.09.2007 collapse of flyover/bridge of Karachi Northern Bypass where in number of people had died and received serious injuries, but no any FIR was registered. Nor compensation paid to them. This Court passed the order for registration of FIR, payment of compensation to the legal heirs of deceased and injured and putting the culprits in ECL. FIR has been registered by the Police, culprits puton ECL and compensation amount deposited with Nazir of High Court. Final report is awaited.
