“The dispensation of justice is a difficult and intricate task, the bench and bar should work hard to provide justice to litigants at their door-steps”, said the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry while addressing a delegation of District Bar Association Nankana Sahib headed by its President Ch. Muhammad Anwar Zahid and comprising other office bearers and members who called on his lordship today i.e 19.06.2013 in the Supreme Court, Islamabad.
“The vision of independent judiciary can only be materialized with the help and sincere efforts of Bar so it is a responsibility of Bar to assist the Bench in dispensation of justice”, added the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan also praised the services rendered by legal fraternity for the cause of Rule of Law and supremacy of Constitution in society. He also commended the role played by District Bar Association, Nankana Sahib during the Lawyers’ Movement.
            The members discussed with the Hon’ble Chief Justice issues and matters of interest of the legal/judicial fraternity and thanked the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan for sparing some time out of his busy schedule. They also assured of full support and cooperation in process of dispensation of expeditious and inexpensive justice. The delegation further praised his lordship’s struggle for rule of law, supremacy of Constitution and independence of judiciary.
             The delegation invited the Chief Justice of Pakistan to visit District Bar Association, Nankana Sahib, his lordship conveyed his gratitude, extended his thanks and assured to visit them in suitable time.
