"Supreme Court officers and staff are hardworking and committed in discharge of their duties. They always take pain to accomplish the task entrusted to them. They work beyond the normal duty hours to assist the Hon’ble Judges in discharge of their duties. They are back bone of Court administration. Although, frequent trainings are not imparted to them yet they are fully professional and always remained ready to perform their duties" said Dr. Faqir Hussain, Registrar, Supreme Court of Pakistan, addressing the officers of Supreme Court in a ceremony arranged by officers on eve of his retirement which is 24.03.2014.

Further, extending thanks to Hon’ble Chief Justices, Hon’ble Judges and staff of Supreme Court, he said that he is much thankful to Hon’ble Chief Justices for their support extended to him in carrying out his duties and guidance given by Hon’ble Judges and the cooperation extended by the officers and staff of Supreme Court in discharge of his duties as Registrar of the Apex Court. He further added that when he joined this prestigious institution as Registrar, Supreme Court, it was his vision that performance of staff should be super and role model for others to follow like Supreme Court. Today, he is proud that the staff of the institution is performing whole heartedly, with full dedication and commitment that is why no case of corruption was ever reported in his tenure as Registrar Supreme Court.

Moreover, while addressing the officers and staff of Human Rights Cell of Supreme Court in a separate ceremony, Dr. Faqir Hussain said that HR Cell was established with view to redress the grievances of public at large and to provide them easy access to justice. Article 184(3) of the Constitution reflect the vision of founding father of Constitution of 1973 who assigned this special jurisdiction of 184(3) of Constitution to Supreme Court so as to promptly decide cases of vilation of fundamental rights involving issues of public interest and also to entertain applications, petitions and latter from others who could not have access to justice because of poverty, ignorance, belonging vulnerable sections of society etc. Supreme Court is apex Court of the Country and Ultimate Avenue of justice in our country. It works under the constitutional scheme as enshrined in the Constitution of 1973.

Earlier, Mr. Muhammad Ali, Additional Registrar, Supreme Court of Pakistan lauded the services of Dr. Faqir Hussain rendered as Registrar, Supreme Court of Pakistan and said that Dr. Faqir Hussain is fountain of wisdom who always guided his staff and instilled the sprit of hardworking. His services will always be remembered.

The officers presented souvenir and bouquet of flowers to the Registrar as gesture of respect and goodwill.
