A 215 member delegation of National Defence University headed by Major General, Inayat Hussain, Chief Instructor called on Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Gulzar Ahmed here today. Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan while addressing the delegation gave an overview of the Judicial System of Pakistan, and briefed them about the history of Judicial System of Pakistan, its evolution, responsibilities, Composition and functioning of Superior Judiciary, District Judiciary including Civil Courts, Criminal Courts and Special Courts.

Earlier, Registrar of the apex Court, Khawaja Daud Ahmed welcomed the delegation. Major General, Inayat Hussain, Chief Instructor extended thanks to Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan for sparing time for delegation and presented a shield to the Hon’ble Chief Justice on behalf of the Course participants as token of remembrance. The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan reciprocated the same by giving shield to the delegation.
